Mike
Kelly evolved into his career as a location photographer in
the late 70's. By evolve, I mean to say that he transitioned
from assistant to his nationally renowned photographer father,
Tony Kelly, to actually servicing many of his father/mentor's
own accounts himself. Such corporations as Inland Steel, Mobil,
AT&T, Zenith, FMC, among others.
As a photographer, Mike's objective is to fully comprehend
his client's message, then he spares no effort to craft an
image blending his client's concept with his own creative
vision to capture an image with depth, esthetic and brood
appeal.
Mike attributes part of his success to his passion to utilize
his lens in pursuit of attaining a sense of "oneness"
with himself and his environment. The other part of his success
comes from the fantastic support that he naturally evokes
from those around him. Be they maintenance personnel , factory
foremen, or C.E.O.'s, Mike truly enjoys interacting with them
all. "Connecting is vital part of making excellent photographs"
Mike says.
